Best way to start the weekend ♡♡
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been really into reading books this summer. Whether it’s at home, the beach or at the pool~ I’ve been zipping through books! Here are some recommendations from UsWeekly recently~The next one I’ve been itching to read is actually Gone Girl. Anyone read it yet?

In a joint statement to Us Weeklythey confirm: “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

Montecity, California: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries tied the knot in a sumptuous ceremony on Saturday. Reported to be one of the most extravagant weddings to date, no expense was spared for the over-the-top, black-and-white themed nuptials. Kim wore wore a custom-made ivory Vera Wang gown, accented with a diamond headpiece for her veil (the headpiece was whatevs). Stepdad, Bruce Jenner, walked her down the aisle as a beaming Kris Humphries stood wearing a white tux (looking fugs as usual).
I LOVE Kim to death~ but she could have done WAY better than Kris. oh wells…the world is predicting their eminent divorce but I TRULY hope that she makes it till the end.

The bride’s wedding party — including sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Kris Humphries‘ sister Kaela — also wore ivory. The wedding was a strictly black and white affair, so guests were asked to wear only those two colors.
For the reception, Kim changed into not one, but two ivory dresses. According to E! Online, her second dress was another Vera Wang creation: an ivory mermaid gown with hand-piece Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and a skirt with hand-cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery.
A source told Us Weekly that later in the evening, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie Jenner changed out of their bridesmaids gowns into something more comfortable — matching white track suits!
Guests at the fete included all of Kim’s famous family, plus Ryan Seacrest, George Lopez, Brittny Gastineau, Ciara, Jonathan Cheban, Eva Longoria, Lala Vasquez, Mario Lopez and Dancing with the Stars contestant Sugar Ray Leonard.
A source tells Us that the newlyweds’ cake — a sugary confection from Hansen Cakes in L.A. – costs a whopping $15,000 to $20,000! The source says the cake is a knockoff of Prince William and Duchess Kate‘s wedding cake from their April 29 wedding.
Humphries and Kardashian got engaged in May after a six-month courtship. Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, served as co-maids of honor, while younger sisters Kendall, Kylie, and Kris’ sister Kaela were bridesmaids. According to E! Online, all of Kim’s bridesmaids wore ivory dresses by Vera Wang. Kourtney and Scott Disick’s 20-month old son, Mason, was the ring bearer.
Kim’s nephew Mason Disick, who had the important role of ring bearer, kept guests laughing. “He kept going back up the aisle,” a source tells Us. “Finally I think on the third try he had the rings!”
The newlyweds’ celebrations won’t end on Saturday. Eleven days after Kim and her NBA beau’s nuptials, Niche Media founder Jason Binn and wedding planner to to the stars Colin Cowie are throwing the duo another bash in New York!
The altar was made of a huge cross made of Swarovski crystals. “It was a bit much,” a source said. “But Kris’ family are Christians and very religious, so maybe that was a way of incorporating in religion and Kardashian style!”
Kim and Humphries, 26, wrote their own vows. “Kris talked about how he loved Kim’s hustle and work ethic,” a source said. “They also talked about all the things they loved about one another.”

The apparent Monday night suicide of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Russell Armstrong has devastated the Bravo community.
The estranged husband of Taylor Armstrong was just 47 years old, and leaves behind daughter Kennedy; the LAPD confirmed to Us that Armstrong hanged himself in his L.A. area home, and was discovered Monday evening.
A spokesperson for Bravo said in a statement: “All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time.”
Armstrong’s close friend and castmate Adrienne Maloof tweeted: “My heart goes out to @TaylorArmstrong and Kennedy during this devastating time. You will be in my thoughts and in prayers.”
“I am so very sad about today’s news,” Bravo’s Andy Cohen tweeted. “My prayers and thoughts are with Taylor Armstrong and her family.
“That’s unbelievably awful,” Real Housewives of New York‘s Alex and Simon McCord told Us Weekly. “[We] hadn’t heard yet. Our hearts go out to the family.”
“It’s terrible!” McCord’s castmate Ramona Singer told Us. “I’ve met Taylor, she’s very sweet.”
She added of the the late Armstrong: “It’s a shame, it’s a shame for his child and it’s a shame for his wife. It’s very sad when anyone takes their life. Someone has to be in so much pain to take their life, I can’t even imagine what kind of pain.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Danielle Staub tweeted: “Love and prayers to you and your family — I pray your privacy will be respected in this great time of need!”
