Weekend Recap and Photodump

This last weekend was incredibly tame and I basically watched Sons of Anarchy all weekend.  This is not a show I thought I would like…but I’m pretty freaking hooked.

Sunday was an awesome day of just hanging out with Markel.  We went to church, went grocery shopping, hung out in ktown, and then played at night with our new neighbors =)

I loved last weekend.  I relaxed and just hung out at home~~  Can’t wait for this weekend (3-day weekend) to do a little hiking, organize our guest room (we’re still figuring out what to do with it) and play with Markel ❤

Weekend Recap and Photodump

This past weekend was  BLAST!!  I went glamping with 2 of my besties and we explored San Francisco a bit on Sunday. =)

Friday I flew out to the San Jose airport and they picked me up along their way to the campsite near Santa Cruz.

When we got to the campsite, it was SOO nice!  It was called Constanoa~ and you had the option of staying in a hotel, fancy cabin, tent-cabin hybrid (which we did), bring your own tent, or bring your own RV.  The campsite was split into different areas and it was REALLY fun to have a weekend away from city life.  There was absolutely no cell phone reception, but luckily there was wifi!  Not quite “roughing-it”… =)

*Important things first…we set up our snack table!

For the first part of Saturday we made breakfast, hiked for a few hours, napped, and relaxed in our tent.

In the evening, we ate at this bomb restaurant (on the camp site) and then tried about 6 times to start a fire.  It took 2 of our neighbors to help us get it going >.<  Next time we’ll know how to start a fire for SURE!  lol

Christmas Cheer

In an attempt to start the holiday cheer early~ I made these little fluffy balls of tulle and hung them on our curtain rod.  These pictures are pretty terrible, but hopefully you’ll get the idea.  This weekend I plan to finally put up my tree, stockings, and lights! =)

xoxo

Happy Friday Everyone!

Weekend Recap and Photodump

This past weekend was a rare one for me.  I had ABSOLUTELY no plans!!

Saturday Morning, Markel and I rode our bikes to Santa Monica and Venice beach.  It was SO MUCH FUN.  I haven’t done anything like this ever, so it was refreshing to do something new and spend the entire day sunbathing, eating, and relaxing on the beach =)

Temecula Wine Tasting with the Blairs! <3

I’m SOOOO excited!  Today, the Blairs and I are going wine tasting in Temecula together.  I LOVE everything about this trip~~  eating lunch outside at a winery, getting to try new delicious wine bottles, and spending time with Markel, Mama and Papa Blair.  This weekend there is a Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival going on~ not sure if we’re going to go to that, but wine tasting and a gorgeous lunch outside are definitely on our check-list!  Today, I leave you with some fun pics I found online to show you what I’ll be doing this weekend ❤

Weekend Recap: Ktown, Hunger Games, Israeli Songbook, Redbox, etc

Wow can I say…I had a really busy weekend!  Here are some picture collages to “recap” the weekend for us~

Friday

Markel and I went to a goodbye party for our favorite Byons.  We hit up Moo Dae Po II in ktown as well as Touhmi.  Let’s just say…Soju and Dynamites were the biggest MVPs!  I haven’t had Korean BBQ in a while and I have to say…I could go back and eat the buffet again.  Maybe it’s because I didn’t get to eat my fill…maybe it’s because I was distracted by the MVPs…*ahem* but I love gogi! (meat)

Saturday

Markel and I ran a bunch of errands and finally got my Ikea rug!  Wahoo!

Then we met my bff and her family for Hunger Games ❤

In the evening, Markel and I went on a dinner date to westwood and saw Noa: The Israeli Songbook at UCLA Live.  I received AWESOME tickets as a gift and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  Noa sang in both English and Hebrew and focused on Hebrew Classics from the 1930s-1970s.  LOVED.

ps–the pic of all the phones?  That was before hunger games~ all 6 of us were playing “draw something”.  LOL
